| | 28mm Dogface GIs (Pulpitations) | From the memoirs of Joseph Stone, Sergeant, Easy Company, 7th infantry Regiment, 3rd Division “When I joined this man's army back in '41 I already had some experience with weapons gained during my stint in the FBI. Workin' in Chicago, I knew my way around a Thompson an' a fistful of grenades. But buddy, Chicago wuz nuttin' compared ta fighting our way through Anzio and Cassino in Italy. Right there in the old country me an' the Dogfaces got into and outa some of the toughest spots I'd ever found myself in. Italy, France, and finally Germany, by the time the war wuz officially over in '45 Dogface found itself at Hitler's alpine fortress, amazed that we'd survived battlin' every Tiger, Panther, or damn mongoose the Wehremacht could throw at us.

But let me tell ya, fightin' German paratroopers wuz nuttin' compared ta facing the super-secret nazi occult troops that Dogface hadda destroy during the Occult Wars. Our outfit wuz one of a small number of regular units that Uncle Sam called on for the sorta operations that the folks back home were better off not knowing anythin' about. So while most GI's were demobbed or doin' occupation duty, me an' the other Dogfaces battled some nasty critters that we coulda never imagined during WW2. I mean undead troopers; nazi super weapons hidden as part of Operation Werewolf - no one back in the States ever heard about this stuff.
When 1950 finally rolled around, the last of the nazis had either been destroyed or come onto our side, and you'd be forgiven fer thinkin' that us Dogfaces would end up in Korea facin' down the Reds. But once again Uncle Sam had other ideas. Y'see there weren't many crews who could be called on to tackle the giant bugs an' spiders that mutated outa control during the new atomic age. This is where the bazookas, flamethrowers, and pineapple grenades that we used ta fight nazi tanks with were being used in a way that that the quartermasters could hardly have imagined. With the last of the atomic bugs finally destroyed, me an' the other Dogfaces had finally earned our rest. Amen”.

Quick Eureka Competition!
Joseph Stone has been around the tracks. The first person to email us at the Eureka Website and correctly identify the title of the movie in which he appears (pre World War Two) and his Italian heritage is ‘discussed’ - wins a free set of Dogface GI’s.
Thank you to all who have taken part in our competition. It has been won by Jeff Ewing with his correct answer "The film is The Untouchables, of course: Giuseppe Petri is unmasked by Sean Connery."
These guys went to Hell and Back – literally – but no one cares. They got no medals. Are you going to tell their story?
