Kosta Heristanidis is labouring away on a variety of exciting projects at the moment, including some additions to his ‘Moderns’ range of contemporary and near contemporary military subjects.
We thought fans of this range might like a sneak peak at the 12.7mm Dshk (“Dushka”) machine gun on its antiaircraft mount, complete with two Afghan guerrilla crew members. The pictures show the original master figure ‘greens’ (with the rear leg of the tripod mount not shown) and some first castings (this time with the tripod fully assembled).
No release date for these as yet because Kosta is working on some alternative crews and other support weapons, but we will keep you posted.
