‘Lasalle’ Napoleonic Wargames rules and AB Figure ‘Lasalle’ Unit Packs now available
Sam Mustafa’s new Napoleonic rules, ‘Lasalle’, are now available from Eureka Miniatures, together with Unit Packs of miniatures specifically designed to go with these rules.
The Unit Packs are made up of figures from the AB 15/18mm Napoleonic range and some of our own Eureka 18mm Napoleonic miniatures, and cost 10% less than buying the figures individually. They have been designed by Sam himself and the selection of figures (with appropriate command and skirmishers) will provide everything Lasalle gamers need using the preferred basing system.
Many of you will already be familiar with Sam Mustafa’s popular rules systems, such as Might & Reason and Grand Armée and will have eagerly anticipated Lasalle’s publication. Lasalle is the first title in what will be the ‘Honour’ series of gaming rules, and they represent a significant step forward in production values (hard cover, full colour pages, richly illustrated with photographs of miniatures and diagrams clearly explaining the rule mechanisms)
Lasalle is aimed at a tactical level game with players each commanding a division or similar small force during the Napoleonic Wars. Decision making will be required such as when to deploy skirmishers, using different types of artillery in specific roles, or exploiting the local terrain. The game plays to completion in 2-3 hours, and is ideal for small table games and tournament / competition play. Lasalle includes historical scenarios, and an Army Builder system that allows players to create a huge variety of customised armies for six nationalities fighting in five different theatres of the Napoleonic Wars.
